Hi!

We are installing a new backup system and I am having some issues. We
have an N4000 switch connected to an HP 20/700 w/ 12 LTOs FIBER<>SCSI
Bridged. Our desired result of this configuration is to be able to backup
our 12 TB of data centrally each night. Currently the UNIX and NT boys
aren't in the same playground.

The robot is configured as schgr even though the docs say sctl or spt.
Should I force it to one of these rather than letting it figure it out on
its own? The LTO drives are configured as stape.

When I configured this library in the GUI it doesn't recognize the drives as
belonging to the library so I had to manually configure the drives. Is that
par for the course?

Finally I am only getting about 5 MB/sec in my backup throughput. I have
the storage unit set to max multiplex per drive of 1. I am doing this so
that I can load up all 12 drives w/ an equal amount of data. Once we move
this to production I am sure we will be changing this. Is there any
configuration stuff I can change to help speed this up w/ only 1 stream
running per drive? Oh and if it makes any difference we are running 2 1Gb
cards bound together for the network on all of our HP boxes.

TIA!
Eric
