While NBU is running?
bpbkar is a client process so do you want to monitor the performance at the
client or the media server?
For the media servers my favorite command on solaris is
iostat -x 5
to view close to real-time.
If you are interested in an after-the-fact report, you can download my
globalthruput.sh script from http://www.NetBackupCentral.com which will report
on the aggregate throughput of the backups, duplications and restores within
the Master Domain as well as the performance numbers for the individual Media
Servers within that Master's Domain.
I have a variation of that script call clnt_thruput.sh which gives you the
option of reporting on an individual client or clients. That one is NOT on the
site yet so if you want, clnt_thruput.sh, let me know.
