I believe one common way is to kill the "bpsched" daemon.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] How to disable the start of new jobs

Hi,

i'm looking for a way to let the current jobs run to their end but no new
jobs should start.

I want to have a maintenace window, but we have jobs running all the time. I

want to do some maintance work right after one long job is done, but there
are some jobs that probably would start before the long one is finished. I
could just disable the classes until i'm done with maintenance but i look
for
a general "no new jobs" solution.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance

Arne Kloecker
