I think this will be due to your retention period. Scheds with a higher
retention period are ran at a priority over smaller retentions.

Also check you run the yearly one once a year and not once a week.

If all this is ok, then most likly once this yearly backup has ran, next
month or week the weekly or monthly will run.

We have a SAN Media server that doing Oracle hot backups via RMAN. This is a
user submitted backup. In the class we have four differnt schedules with
different retentions levels.  IE: daily, weekly, monthly & yearly. The user
is
calling the weekly schedule in their script but the yearly schedule kicks
off.
Just so happens when you look at class for schedules , the yearly is the top
schedule. Does anyone know how to get arounf this?
