One thing is to be sure you're looking at the column you expect.  There is a
tape expiration date that is when the tape is too old to use further - so,
for example, you won't use a tape after it's 10 year old.  This date
defaults to 0, meaning that the tape media is expected to last for infinity.
This date is the one that shows up in the Media Manager X-GUI for v3.4.
 
The other date is the when the tape will be available for reuse because all
the images have expired.  This is the one shown in the bpmedialist command.

anyone having issues with the Media and Device Mgmt. GUI not 
populating the expiration date column for the tapes within 
a volume pool ?  and perhaps a workaround ?
