[Veritas-bu] bpclntcmd -ip xxxxxxx, not found!

I recently ran into the same error, besides turning on logging to further
troubleshoot the problem, mine was a SQL server that just had to be rebooted
in order eliminate the error. I hope your problem is that simple.

is anybody there he known that problem with a connection to a client with
return code 54!
If you try the cmd below from client, the answer is "host xxx.xx.xx.xxx: not
found".
Situation: The hosts are O.K., but no dns entry.
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin
if4411 # ./bpclntcmd -ip xxx.xx.xx.xxx
host xxx.xx.xx.xxx: not found.
