Yes Mark you can do both, you can multi stream from a client and then multiplex
it to a tape. This is fine for most gigabit connected systems if you have fast
tape drives, however this is better suited in situations when you have slower
systems. This works great in Novell environments where each individual stream
is slow, however together they can stream a tape.
