Hi Guys,
Well due to the amount of problems I experienced, I contacted Veritas
Support, who after 18 hours, managed to resolve the dreaded problems that we
were getting. I cannot thank them enough!

Anyhow, it appears that our Media Server and Master Server was not
multihosting correct, and there were software conflicts after changing some
SCSI Cables over!! 

My question is, what is the actual reason or reasons for having a Media
Server? The Support Engineer also told me it was quite critical to ensure
that the Media Server was backed up, in the event of a failure. He also
mentioned that the Media/Master "share" the same DB, therefore if the Media
Went down, we would lose our Database for all the jobs carried out on the
Media Server!

I would be interested to hear how everyone else has theirs setup, and what
the reasons were? I also mentioned that we were looking to move our Media
Server off to another machine, and he has recommended I do NOT perform this
task, unless I talk to a Veritas Consultant, or place an incident call, due
to the amount of issues that can occur performing this task.

Could anyone else tell me if they have moved a media server?
