I am the system administrator responsible for our NetBackup installations.

NetBackup generates a ton of media manipulation messages (e.g., tape
mounted, etc), as well as other types of messages.

We have hodge podge of media/master servers (SGI, Sun and HP) that are
managed by different sys admins.

To a person, the other system administrators are always asking if there is
someway to have the media mount and other NetBackup messages redirected to a
file other than their syslog or messages file (imagine them not like having
to sort through all of the NetBackup messages to find what is really wrong
with their systems).

Does anyone knows if there is a way to redirect all the NetBackup messages
to another file??
