What about the pkg entry, shouldn't you do a pkgrm first?

Well, uninstalling on solaris is a bit easier that NT.
Basically, remove the software from the install, remove the entries
from /etc/services, remove the entries from /etc/inetd.conf, remove the
S77netbackup and the K77netbackup scripts from the rc directories and you
should be good to go.
