[Veritas-bu] Upgrade from NBU 2.2 to 4.5

All:

I just had an email conversation with someone in NBU engineering, and it was
confirmed that YES, you must launch into NBU 4.5 from NBU 3.4.

So Patrick, you will need to go from 2.2 to 3.4 before hitting NBU 4.5.

I did hear it directly from the Veritas at Vision.  You must upgrade servers
to 3.4, then to 4.5.  The upgrade to 3.4 writes some sort of header that the
upgrade to 4.5 looks for...something like that.  Anyway, ask Veritas
yourself.  I was disappointed that I couldn't upgrade directly as well,
although the intermediate upgrade seems to be a fairly minor step.

That may be, but I don't see any significant architectural differences
between
3.2 and 3.4.  This may be the Veritas company line, the one that they
support,
but in order for me to be convinced I'd have to hear it directly from one of

the developers as to the techincal reasonings behind it.
