Hello Group,

I have two questions both regarding a client of slackware, kernel build
2.2.16.

I get a message saying "Could not set linger value on socket. Errno = 22:
Invalid argument". Where is the linger value set and what's it's purpose ?

The second question "... from client lotusblossom: ERR - File
/raid0_d1/esrixfer/cadtest/agdpencad/aat.adf shrunk by 9099680 bytes,
padding with zeros." This backup had occurred outside office hours with no
processing taking place at the time of the backup. What could cause the file
to shrink?

Regards
