[Veritas-bu] HELP - Really slow backups

Have you checked to make sure if the server itself and the network port are
set to run at 100 full duplex. We always check that first and sometimes the
network port has to be hard coded due to whatever reason..

Subject: [Veritas-bu] HELP - Really slow backups
Hello All,
All of a sudden I am having trouble with the speed of the backups. Where I
was getting 3-4G/hour - I am now getting .5-1G/hour. I am using netbackup
3.4. The server is a Enterprise 3000 running Solaris 2.6. The clients are
Solaris, Linux, and Windows NT and 2000. I've checked the logs - rebooted -
etc - but have found nothing awry.
Can anyone offer some advice?
Thanks
Steve Moccio
