You can just lookup the images on the tape then stuff work it into a loop

bpimmedia -media <tapenum> | awk '$1=="IMAGE" {print $4}'

Loop:
for bpid in `bpimmedia -media <tapenum> | awk '$1=="IMAGE" {print $4}'`
do
  bpduplicate -npc <copy_on_tape_num> -backupid $bpid
done

You can get the copy number on the tape from the same bpimmedia output as
part of the FRAG field (field 9 is tapenum, field 2 is copy num).

Hi,
Normally to restore from a duplicate you have to
specify the job id:

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpduplicate -npc ???
-backupid ???.

 is there a way to do this whithaout specifying the
job id . in the case i want to restore all images on a
given tape ?

   thank you in advance
