To see the slot inventory from the library itself, you can use robtest or
tldtest:
echo "s s" | /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/tldtest -r /dev/sg/cXtXlX
To get what's in the library, I like vmquery (field 9 is slot num, filed 1
is tape num):
vmquery -w -a | awk 'NR>3 && $9!="-" {print $1}'
To sync the two, use vmupdate.
