Hi All,

I got two questions:

1 - Does anyone know how often, once a connection is lost, Netbackup
hammers a client? If it's hammering the NIC too often based on the
timeouts, we have Gigabit Ethernet (Compaq NC7131). card to loosing it's
connection to the network when runing the backup?

2 - Secondly, if I use tpreq to clean a drive from the command line on NT
or Windows 2000 boxes, does the Scheduler recognize this? In other words, I
have 6 drives. In the middle of backups, a drive goes dirty, we issue a
tpreq to clean the drive, because at that particular moment, there are no
additional jobs scheduled. The cleaning is underway (tape mounted etc.) and
the bpsched process kicks off another backup...Does this job fail and down
that drive that is being cleaned because it is not showing up as in use due
to cleaning, or is NB smart enough to list it as in use and queue the job
until the cleaning is done?

 Thanks,

Adam
