Yes, everytime I try to run bpcd from the command line.  The message
is normal.  Except of course if I run bpcd -standalone (in which case
I get a different error if inetd is already listening on that port).

I'd HUP inetd before anything else myself.  Also check with netstat to
make sure the bpcd port isn't in use.
