You can also edit the registry on the Exchange client directly (in this case, 
"VeritasExchService" is the mailbox alias for the NBU Exchange service account)

Add a new string value to the following key:
HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Veritas/NetBackup/CurrentVersion/Config
   Value Name: "EXCHANGE_MAILBOX"  (must be all caps)
   String Value: "VeritasExchService"
 
The following reg hack was also recommended by Veritas (I don't know the 
source):

Change (increase) the value of the following parameter to 100c (hex) or 4108 
(decimal):
HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Veritas/NetBackup/CurrentVersion/Config/Clear_Archive_Bit_Incr_Wait
(A lower value causes the transaction log not to be truncated after a full 
backup).

 Install an administration console on some Windows NT machine,
add this machine in the SERVER list of your machines (or at least
in SERVER list of the master and your Exchange client), and
lauch the Configure tool on this administration machine.
