Gina,

After also upgrading our DLT7000 drives to v106 we had problems (not this
one specifically, but issues). We discovered that Veritas only supports v95
firmware on the DLT7000 drives according to the compatability matrix on
their website. Of course, Storagetek say that code is so old they can't
even get it. We've downgraded to v101 and are seeing fewer problems. You
might try that.

-Dave

I am running Veritas Netbackup DataCenter 3.4.1 patched at NB_34_2. I have
DLT7000 drives in an STK9710 which were
just upgraded to V106 microcode yesterday. I put several DLT tapes back in
the robot for reuse and received an error in the
logs that reads:

FREEZING media id 001767, it contains MTF1-format data and cannot be
used for backups.

Has anyone ever seen this before or know how to deal with it?
