[Veritas-bu] Increase Client Retry Delay?

Is there a way to increase the delay for the client retries?  I can't seem
to find anything in the documentation, et al.  As it is, if a NetBackup
client fails, it will retry up to the maximum number configured, but it
tries these in quick succession.  I'd prefer it waited a little while before
trying again...is it possible to change the delay?

This is 3.4.1 on Solaris.  thanks!
