I am using netbackup 3.2 on solaris 2.6. I keep getting EXIT 24- Socket
write error for some of my clients.The tcp parameter,
tcp_close_wait_interval is 1000 for my media server(as per veritas )..that
is not solving my problem.

Any recommendations....PLEASE??

Has anyone set (enabled) "Allow multi-retention periods per media" on a
storage library before?

The question I have is will that take effect immediately or only after any
images on the tape(s) have expired?
