are not in sync with the Master.

If each server is installed locally on the node with the node name then that
should work. There should not be anything shared about the NetBackup
configuration between the two servers.
As far as the drives downing, I would check the SSO config and make sure the
drive paths are going to the correct device. Each server could have totally
different paths to the drives.

I guess this is really geared towards the Veritas folks, but if anyone else
knows, feel free to jump in.

Is it supported to run NBU Media Server software on both Servers in a
cluster (at the same time, not for failover)?  I just found out that the NT
group configured it in this way.  We are also talking about SSO in the
configuration as well, which is why I was called in, it seems every time
these servers request a tape the drive goes down.

Oh and one more thing, they are using NSI GeoCluster to keep the drives in
sync (each server has their own array).

Any ideas?
