Well, the inevitable happened. The mess of a backup server I inherited two
years ago finally croaked. Sun is not sure what the problem is, but I have
to get my backups going again.
I had planned to rebuild with Solaris 8 and NBU 3.4 soon anyhow. When I
rebuild this box, with 3.4, how should I import the media database? Even
though the OS is bad, I can recover any of the files from the disk. Can I
just copy the files over from the old install and be done with it? If so,
which files? Thanks in advance.
