Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with media server CPU count
requirements per 9840 drive.  This would be using AN HP N or L class server
(440Mhz processor) to drive 10 drives.

In the past Veritas has used 2 drives per tape head as the "rule of thumb".
However I think this is out of date given how fast cpu time has increased.

On one of our other media server... it would appear for drives per one
440Mhz processor is ok.

Any advice appreciated.
