We are running SP2. What was it you were specifically wanting to know about
it and NBDC?
Note that there is an issue with restoring Active Directory (if you run AD)
if you do not have SP2.

We have an HP SureStore 20/700 (rebadged L700) with HP Ultrium drives.

We are running Netbackup 3.4 Datacenter on a Windows 2000 server

We have StorageTek L700 with DLT7000 tape drives.

For some time we were running at firmware version 95 on the tape drives. We
had
issues with the drives raising invalid cleaning messages.

We then upgraded to firmware version 106 on the tape drives. This fixed our
invaled cleaning flags but caused backup performance to drop significantly.

So we backed out our firmware change from 106 to 95.

We are now getting and abnormally high number of Media errors (status 83).

Can anyone offer a step by step way to determine the cause of status 83
errors?

Question #2: Is anyone running with Windows 2000 Server service pack 2?
