We are running Netbackup Datacenter 3.4 on Windows NT. How does Netbackup
handle authentication from the operator console when connecting from the
master. Does it use the account that is logged in? If so is there a way to
configure it to use a different account?

The scenario is this, we used to have an operator console that would connect
to 2 different backups to monitor the progress. we have now upgraded one
environment and as part of the rehardening of the server the administrator
account is renamed. The console in question is a workstation that needs to
be logged in as administrator for the functions it performs (we piggy back
off another application to save having tons of consoles).

My gut is telling me I need another console but I am just hoping someone
might know away around this.

Thanks,

Don O'Shea
