Im posting twice in 1 day, I wonder if I win a prize.
I'm in the process of cleaning up the classes on the server because the
previous admin created seperate classes for full and incremental backups,
instead of using different schedules.
I know the recommended way it to make a new class and copy the old class
info into the new class, but thats going to want to to a full backup of
everything tonight, which I'm trying to avoid.
Has anyone done this by shutting down the server and renaming certain
files ?
I wouldnt have a problem going into
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/images/client_name/#####
and renaming the class_name* files to new_class_name*
Any suggestions ?
