I posted this problem with HP's Ultrium 230 and NetBackup 3.4.1. The
problem ended up being
a timing issue against the firmware revision that I was running. Applying
v15 over my then current
V12 firmaware on my two Ultrium drives corrected the timing error and I am
now successfully
addressing the volumes.
Since I am only evaluating Veritas software and am not yet a customer, it
was a great opportunity
to experience some tech support from this company.
