There are some specific configuration steps necessary to handle DHCP
clients. See page 286 of the NetBackup Data Center Admin Guide for UNIX for
the details.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Backing up Clients using DHCP
All,
I am currently having issues backing up clients that don't have
static IP addresses but rather are using DHCP. This becomes an issue when
the clients IP address constantly changes and the Veritas Master server is
unable to get a connection (status 58). Is there a way around this issue?
Let me know
