I had some maintenance contract issues so I haven't even received my 3.4
package yet, let alone the keys. From what I'm seeing in the e-mails on this
thread, the license keys are going to be a big pain for all of us 3.2 user's.
That's all we need is more complications in our lives. If you ever get your
keys, you'll have to do a post and let us know how it goes getting them on (and
working). Did I read something correctly where it said the keys only apply to
the Master and Media servers and not the clients? If not, that would really be
a bummer. I'm backing up 213 servers of various types.

Dennis

I've got support through SUN for NetBackup and have yet to find anyone
or anything which shows a correlation between VERITAS and SUN patch
levels; that's why we opted to use Veritas packages and patches.
Thankfully with 3.4 SUN is abandoning this duplicity and using VERITAS
packages/patches.

Anyway, have you or anyone else who has NetBackup support through SUN
gotten 3.4 license keys yet? I got the NBU 3.4 media kit (which
interestingly included NBU 3.4 *DataCenter* for NT/2K; not just the
client) from SUN, and a glib note inferring I would get license keys,
though opening up 2 separate tickets on the issue and pinging our SUN SE
I've yet to receive a notice when I'd get these keys.
