Keilani,

I had some problems installing SSO on E220, Solaris 2.6, NBU 3.4 accessing
Compaq tape library via switched fabric. The configuration of the library
should have the robot address at SCSI id 1 and tape drive(s) at #2 (& #3)
Run drvconfig; tapes Then use sgscan to make sure that all of the
drives and the robot show up. When you have the h/w all set, you can use
the SSO wizard in the Java media manager gui to discover and configure your
shared drives automagically. Heed the warning that the robot can only be
controlled by one host (though drives can be used by more than one host).

The first requirement though is that your h/w must all be visible from the
hosts that you will use as media servers before trying to setup the multi-
hosted drives.
