one solution could be to create for each class a new schedule with:
- overriding the class volume pool with a new pool with a different retention
level
- a backup window only on saturday
- a frequency of 4 weeks
If you really wants to perform full backups only on the first saturday of the
month (is it mandatory, or is what you
need
only a full backup with a longer retention level ?) you will have to set the
backup window of the new schedule through a
script: the backup window is normally cleared (i.e no backups are running); on
the corresponding day, the 'days' file is
modified to enable backups. After backups are done, the days file is reset to
the 'no backup' value.
