Look in the Admin Guide there is a description on how to set bpstart and
bpend timeouts.

Anybody seen this one....?

We are new to backing up NT clients on our NetBackup 3.2 HP-UX
11.00 Master (only unix clients up until now). We have run into
this one problem; it appears that when a notify.bat script takes
longer than 5-8 minutes, we receive an error of 24. We do not get
any time out errors. We have an Oracle instance that takes 7
minutes to shutdown on one of our clients (we shut it down via a
call to a shutdown script from the start script). The moment it
shuts down and returns to the start script and the start script
finishes, we get the 24. As a test, we put in a dummy start
script with nothing in it; ran fine. Used another dummy start
script with one command; sleep 1200; and it errors with a 24.
Veritas is saying that it is our code!!! We only put a "sleep
1200" in the start script!!! We are at patch 443 (client and
master). I saw the 412 patch that mentions a bpstart_notify.bat
time out fix but Veritas said that we do not need it since we
have 443.

Any ideas?
