Ryan:

We had a similar problem when we upped the quatity of our drives and
reconfigured. The drvconfig, etc, did not work, and our manual config was
in error. We ended up downing those drives until we could reconfig. We did
that, and now problem is solved. Initially, we were told it was our power
fluctuating, but, since reconfig, they have been up, running, for over a
month with NONE going down.

Maybe it's the scsi config.

I've been working with StorageTek for a while on this, but I wanted to
see if any of you have this problem. I'm running NBU 3.2 on Sun
E450/Solaris 2.6 master/media server. At first one, but now 2 of 3
drives on the same SCSI bus will come up, but after they're used for a
little bit, they go into a DOWN state. You can bring them up, but once
they're used they go back down. I get this messages repeatedy in
/var/adm/messages:

STK has replaced the drive twice (!). Is this indicative of just a bad
cable? Bad hostbus adaptor?

Thanks,
