What were the circumstances that brought you to NBU 3.2 on a Solaris 2.7
platform? Did you recently upgrade to Solaris 2.7? The reason I ask is I'm
currently running NBU 3.2GA on a Solaris 2.6 platform and I want to upgrade to
Solaris 2.7 soon. I've seen several posts to this group that indicate folks
have had problems with their backups after doing this. I have enough grief
without going through that but I know that Solaris 2.6 will not be a supported
platform for NBU going forward. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who DID
NOT have any problems going from Solaris 2.6 to 2.7 with NBU 3.2 and what you
did to insure a smooth transition.

Regards,
Dennis

i have found one or two postings from users with similar problems, but
i have not found any responses to their requests for help, so please
bear with me if this seems a repeat.

i'm using NBU 3.2 on solaris 2.7. i have been unable to complete
backups recently and have tracked the problem to what appears to be
bpsched. my bpsched log shows the following:

23:54:02 [12454] <16> bpsched: scheduler exiting - no storage units

and thus i endup with a 213 error. if i specify the storage unit in my
class definition then i get a error 219. i can't tell what exactly is
going wrong, the entried for NBU are still in inetd.conf and inetd is
running.

any help would be appreciated.
