Dennis,
I had to use the cmd (bpexpdate) to change the expir date for images.
I actually was able to expir the whole tape, so that may have made it easier
for me
than just certain images.
However, I still had to use the cmd singly per tape.
Hope this helps,
Ben

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Reconciling Existing Images With a New Retention
Period
I just changed all retention periods in all classes for my weekly FULL
backups from 6 weeks to 5 weeks. What I'd like to do now is go out and force
any tapes that contain images older than 5 weeks to expire. Is there an easy
way to do this or do I just have to wait for natural attrition?
Regards,
Dennis
