Thanks to those who responded. Let me clarify further that I want to keep
the data currently on the volume, just not for infinity. Bpexpdate
(-recalculate -ret) will only change the retention level of a volume if the
new level is greater than currently set. I have enough of these tapes that
I'd prefer to not have to delete them from the catalog and merge them back
again...

to 9 (short of relabling the tape)?
