I apparently sent this to the wrong address. If you've seen this before, please 
excuse the second posting.


I've been having some issues with restoring to an alternate client for both NT 
and NetWare.

The most recent case involves the need to restore the files that were backed up 
from an existing NetWare server (Server A) to a temporary NetWare server that 
has never been known by NetBackup (Server B). I was reading something in the 
doc that says that I have to make Server B known to NetBackup by adding it as a 
client. I've done that but the restore job appears to hang up and die without 
ever having mounted a single tape. I see things in the doc about the altnames 
directory and the No.Restrictions directory but still have no idea if these 
apply to my situation or not. I have similar issues when trying to restore data 
from an NT server being backup by NBU to a new NT server that NBU does not know.

Any information or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
