Of the robots I have mentioned below, 2 of them (9710's) are DLT
the rest are 9840 however all of the drives have a sensor cable
attached to the robot.  I believe that when the "clean drive" light
comes on on the drive a signal is also sent to this sensor port
which is what then communicates to the robot that this drive needs
cleaning and the robot then automatically puts the cleaning tape
into the drive.
