Subject: [Veritas-bu] Class just 'hangs'

I have a Solaris master server with NBU 3.1.1 and a Solaris 2.6 client
with 11 filesystems, and 3 classes to back them up. There is one class
which only backs up one (currently) 467 MB filesystem (/archive) where
files go to before being migrated to optical disk with Veritas Storage
Migrator.

The problem is that this class just 'hangs' there after its backed up
about 450 MB. When I first had the problem a couple weeks ago I noticed
a message in the master's bpbrm log about the db entry for it being
corrupt, but unfortuneatly I don't have that now. This filesystem is
part of a test, so I didn't think much of it, and just created a new
class for it--but the problem remains. Here's the output of the bprd
log after I manually ran it yesterday:

bprd log:

09:03:13 [26009] <4> connected_peer: Connection from host faithful,
10.1.3.11, on reserved port 1021
09:03:13 [7985] <16> get_type_of_client_port: db_getCLIENT() failed: no
entity was found (227)
09:03:13 [7985] <4> hosts_equal: gethostbyname failed for NONE:
HOST_NOT_FOUND (1)
09:03:13 [7985] <2> getsockconnected: host=faithful service=bpdbm
address=10.1.3.11 protocol=tcp non-re
served port=13721
09:03:13 [7985] <2> db_getCLIENT_by_hostname: db_CLIENTreceive: no
entity was found 227
09:03:13 [7985] <2> logparams: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpsched bpsched
-ru root -rg other -ct 0 -class
 camelot_archive -sched Full -IB

The output of the log *seems* obvious, but the config for the class is
fine, and the other classes that backup the server work without a
hitch.  Any ideas?

Regards,

RCA
