Not as convenient as a script, but when using the
Filter function of Media Manager, filter for
Time Assigned "before" some date prior to
your backups started...  (which should result in returning
volumes that have NO "time assigned" which means
it is available)
Highlight all the shown volumes and select Change,
pick the scratch pool...

You're done.

Nice safety net:  MM will not allow you to change the
Pool of an assigned Tape.

Does anyone know how to do a script to check media that is in a volume pool
for available status and then move it to the scratch pool is it is.  This is
very tedious to do manually.  This is an NT master, so I would need the
script that would work with NT.
