stop all the NetBackup daemons

edit the bp.conf and add a line at the bottom that says VERBOSE = 9

create a bpsched log by creating a directory (or folder) under
netbackup/logs/bpsched

this should help you trouble shoot it.

Is this a UNIX box or NT?

How is the Kernel tuned?  Is there another application running on the box (
like Oracle?)?

Have you checked the trouble shooting guide?
