3.4 is currently available.  You can upgrade directly from 3.1.1 to 3.4.
This
has been tested.  The primary changes for 3.4 are Windows 2000 support,
licensing, a change in port selection for firewall configurations and auto
discovery.
There are other changes that you should be able to get from your local sales
team.
