ok
We have a class that backs up our /u01 filesystem (full backup). One of the
files in /u01 changed since the last backup. Well, the change to the file was a
change that we did not want. So, we needed to restore the file from the last
full backup of /u01.
Our backup server is an U5500 running Solaris 2.6 and the client is also an
U5500 running Solaris 2.6
We ran xbp from the NB server and change the configuration (under the File menu)
to use the correct client. We selected the backup that we wanted to search from
and was able to find the file we wanted to restore. We selected the file and
ran the "Restore selected files..." selection. The log file reported that the
restore was successfull. After looking at the file with "ls -l", we see that
the time stamp and size has not changed (and should have). So, the restore did
not happen.

The file is a Cobol program.
The only weird thing with this file is that it has a hard link associated with
it.

Hope this explains it better.
