In regard to: [Networker] Networker 8.0.2 save sessions increment time...:

running Solaris 10, and upgraded from NW 7.6.1.

weird problem noticed after updating to NW8.0.2.

a group may run to completion, incomplete, or failed, yet save streams
associated with the group continue to show active in NMC. After a
while, the device associated with the session will go blank, as the
device gets allocated to another job, but the session will continue to
persist in the monitoring/save sessions window, indefinitely. this is
extremely irritating as it makes monitoring actual drive contention
related issues quite difficult...

so far, the only way we've been able to clear the sessions is to restart
the NW svcs.

We're running 8.0.2.1 on 64 bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4.
We're not seeing the issue you describe.

When this issue happens, is it just the NMC display that's screwed up,
or does the text-based "nsrwatch" also show things incorrectly?
