So the key point is that the retention time obviously only changed for the 
bootstrap backups.

This maybe that it has been set different for that specific pool. Unfortunately 
you do not see the pool in the second screenshot.
You may also set the time by a (script) command, for instance when you are 
cloning. Please verify such as well.
