Hi,
I've upgraded a test system to networker 8.0.1.1, and noticed a failure in
backing up the bootstrap.
In order to simplify things, here is output from the raw nsrmmdbadm
command.
…snip…
C:\>nsrmmdbasm -s "C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\mm\mmvolume6\"
66135:nsrmmdbasm: NSR directive file (C:\Program
Files\Legato\nsr\mm\nsr.dir) parsed
10034:nsrmmdbasm: failed to save C:\Program
Files\Legato\nsr\mm\mmvol000001: Cannot open file C:\Program
Files\Legato\nsr\mm\mmvol000001 for writing
Cannot open file C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\mm\mmvol000001 for writing
…snip…
Note that in this test server, I wiped the media database and res to put it
back into eval mode, then imported my resources. So it was a blank system
when I upgraded it, so media db corruption doesn't seem likely.
Nevertheless, I ran a mediadb scavenge.
Anyone else out there tested a 7.6 upgrade to 8.0.1 yet, and if so, are you
seeing this? For that matter, anyone running 8.0.1?
Thanks,
Dave
