I am looking for help on a activity which i need to perform on next week.
I need to migrate few critical clients (including storage node as
well) from a networker server ( Server A) to a another networker (Server B).

The customer wants to decommissioned the old server as well. Means server A
will not be in existence more. Moreover ccustomer wants to retain  the old
savesets with indexes for  any time recovery of migrated clients old data.
Customer has a seven years retention policy for monthly backups.
As per my understanding moving the clients to another networker is
straightforward thing, however to retain the existing data for the
migrating involves the scanning all the tapes associated with the migrated
clients on the networker server B,  which seems to very time consuming and
hectic task to perform.

Is there any one on the list who have perfromed this kind of activity
earlier ? to build up the savesets/vol records of few clients without
scanning the large number of tapes into a different server media database.
