Recently we bought FC based Quantum Scalar i40 with LTO-4 drives to replace our 
old SCSI L8 LTO-2 based library. Networker is on Solaris 9. What is strange is 
that i40 is not much faster then old L8. When writing from Solaris speeds are 
about 40MB/s mostly with occasional short peaks up to 90MB/s and when storage 
node is writing it is even worse, about 25MB/s. Old L8 was had more consistent 
speed of about 40MB/s when writing from Solaris or storage node.

This does not seem right. Is there anything I should check, tune to get i40 to 
the full speed?
