Is there a way to perform a save set recover (e.g. recover -s server -d location -S ssid/cloneid path1 path2 path3 ...) without having to pass all the desired paths on the command line?

Let's suppose you have a 3 TB save set, and it's no longer browsable. If you only have a few paths, no big deal. But what if you had, say, a thousand that you wanted to recover from that save set, but you don't have space to hold the entire save set, so you want to specify only the paths you need. Maybe this is only a couple of GB. Are you really going to be able to pass 1000 paths to the recover command? Get real! The '-I' option is for cases where the files are still in the CFI so that's no help, right?

Looping and running a separate recover for each would be ludicrous as it reads the entire save set before it completes. Aside from recovering an older version of the index and merging it in, is there some other way?

Thanks.

George
